Why the Costa Brava’s Lloret De Mar Makes Stag and Hen Weekend Heaven
Why is Lloret de Mar is the ultimate Spanish Costa destination for stag and hen parties? Well, there are lots of reasons!
First of all it is lined with wall to wall pubs, clubs and restaurants which cater for just about every taste, from fast food to a la carte. Secondly Lloret’s gloriously long, clean beaches are a haven for sun worshippers and water sports fanatics. What to do on your Lloret de Mar Stag or Hen Weekend
Of course it would be impossible to list everything, so here is a small selection for starters:
Sightseeing
Lloret may be the party capital of the Costa Brava, but it also has its fair share of monuments, parks and museums to visit should that be your thing. Lloret’s 1.6km beach is overlooked by the 11th Century Sant Joan Castle so if sightseeing is your thing you can start your tour with a visit to this 1,000 year old relic and savour the spectacular coastal views afforded from the castle walls before heading off into the town to absorb a bit more of the Catalan culture and architecture.
Shopping
Lloret’s shopping quarter is considered one of the best on the Costa Brava so if retail therapy is on the itinerary for your stag or hen weekend then get yourself into the heart of Lloret’s shopping centre where the streets are chequered with boutiques, gift shops, cafés and inviting little bars.
Water World
If you need to cool down then add a visit to Water World to your itinerary. Europe’s biggest water park complex offers a multitude of aquatic amusements, its own restaurant, bars, cafes, a souvenir shop and mini-golf course.
Water Sports
For an exhilarating experience in the midst of the Med try this package that sets sail from Lloret’s famous Water Sport Centre: Ski Bus (banana boat), Fly Fish (half raft, half kite) and high speed Ski Rafting.
Bungee Jumping
