Mini Guide On Manual And Electric Golf Trolleys
If you want to save your energy and minimise muscle strain then an obvious step is to use a golf trolley. These are no longer the sole domain of the more mature golfer, but can be found to be in use by all ages that frequent the golf courses.
Before we talk about these trolleys, you should be aware that the golf bags used on trolleys are specific to trolleys, they are call golf trolley bags.
There are two flavours of trolley available; the manual or pull golf trolley and the electric golf trolley.
Manual golf trolleys
These trolleys are lighter than their electric counterparts and considerably cheaper. They have a place at the front for the golf bag to go.There are two types of this type of trolley trolley, the pull golf trolleys and the push golf trolleys. The former have 2 wheels and are pulled behind the golfer, whilst the latter have three wheels and have the ability to be either pushed or pulled.
Electric Golf Trolleys
These are the saviour of many a golfer who, for whatever reason, would have difficulty in carrying their golf bag around a course. These trolleys are powered by a battery, which is mounted on board, and can be guided either manually or with a remote control. They, like their manual counterparts have the golf bag mounted at the front.
One of the things to check when looking for an electric golf trolley is the length of time the battery's charge lasts, as you do not want it to run out before you completed a course of 18 holes.
The electric golf trolleys are more expensive than their manual counterparts, but for many they have enabled them to continue enjoying the game of golf when otherwise it would have been too much of a strain.
