After 2011 Arch Rivalry is ending but with The Missouri Tigers joining the Big Ten Conference in Future
St Louis local news said that Missouri Tigers are joining the Big Ten Conference on their 6:00 Clock newscast on Apr 30th (not sure about the Date of newscast) Does this Hint that the Rivalry is continuing
Well, Delany hasn't made any commitment to announcing this to the rest of college football. Most coaches in the Big 10 believe that the Pac 10 will actually make the expansion first. But if what your saying is true, then not only you'll see Missouri being added to the Big 10, but 4 more teams too, Being Nebraska, Rutgers,Pittsburgh, and I think its Syracuse as well. What they are proposing is 4 divisions, something that is different from the SEC and Big 12 conference title game, its a mini-conference playoff game. The 4 divisions are And Im doing this just for fun: The really cold Division:
Minnesota,Wisconsin,Mich St , Michigan. Ohio St always win division: Ohio St,Purdue,Indiana,INorthwestern. The Old Big East league: Penn St,Pittsburgh,Rutgers,Syracuse. And the west : Indiana,Missouri,Iowa,Nebraska. Something like that. Going be something strange.
Delany up to something Big Thats for sure. He not going to do something thats already been done before, what interest would the TV market hold just by expanding, but to expand with something new that'll catch the TV markets attention. This week was suppose to be the week Delany announces the move the Big 10 was making, but he declined to say anything or comment on this subject matter.
