University of Maryland Has Much to Offer

 

The University of Maryland is on 420 acres of land at College Park, that was transformed in 1858 into the beauteous University of Maryland, a university whose name is preceded by its countless achievements in various fields.

Must See Sites

At the heart of the university’s campus is the Testudo, a monument that is deeply rooted in the university’s traditions. Other university landmarks include a statue of Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog, a sundial, and the McKeldin Mall Fountain symbolizing exemplary leadership of the members of one of the university’s most prestigious honor societies: the Omicron Delta Kappa Honors’ Society.
