Odyssey White Ice #1 Putter with enhanced sound
The Odyssey White Ice #1 Putter features the new White Ice insert with enhanced sound, responsiveness and consistency making this the best-feeling, greatest performing multi-layer insert to date. The headweight is optimized with the shaft length for ideal balance, control, feel and accuracy. The Odyssey White Ice #1 Putter is a rounded heel-toe weighted blade putter with a crank-neck hosel and full-shaft offset.
The Callaway Odyssey White Ice 1 putter has been designed to manage the expected transition to soft balls in light of the changes to grooves in wedges and irons. The multi layer insert has been made firmer than the XG version to give better feel and a faster rebound at impact. The insert is very light at 8 grams compared to 60 grams for steel and therefore Callaway can move weight on the White Ice putter to the toe and heel to enhance the moment of inertia and stop the putter head from twisting at impact.
The other major change is the sound at impact which is significantly better than before. Insert putters have always lacked the sound feedback that we feel is crucial to good putting. However the Callaway White Ice putters have finally solved this problem and we would have to say that the sound is almost as good as an all metal putter and the feel is excellent.
This is an excellent putter. Odyssey continues to maintain their reputation as a builder of good putters. If you are looking for a new putter I would suggest you give this one a try at cheap golf equipment store.

I found myself wondering if it was going to be worth the money. I got my answer the very next time I walked on the green. I have to say is that this thing is sweet. My old putter is going in the garbage.
I putt very well at times, so-so other times. I decided to switch from a mallet to a blade and tried every putter at the pro shop, including mallets for comparison. The White Ice #1 was the last putter I tried because it was in a golf bag at the end of the display rack and I had not noticed it. Right away, I consistently nailed four to six foot putts with it. I also liked the looks, balance and feel, so I picked it (after four hrs. at the shop). With a couple days practice, my feel on longer putts improved to excellent. I think the new insert is a winner and this putter is a winner.
I have owned many types of putters, but I have just noticed .this is the one I want. Great feel, customize your own, reasonable price, reliable brand. Odyssey has everything I need to choose.
This is a great product. Perfect examples of you get what you pay for. I have used many putters before, but this is without a doubt the best putter I have ever put in my hands. The ball comes off of the face so true and it is well balanced. Some of my friends have used it and now are considering buying one for them.
